The Board of Directors has decided that, for the safety of all concerned, volunteers and clients alike that R Community Bikes should shut down until further notice. This was partly due to the designation of our area as ORANGE by the authorities but also because we did not want to be the cause of anyone getting infected. We have done a great job with precautions up until this point but we can’t risk possibly being the cause of anyone becoming infected. We will reopen whenever it is deemed appropriate but that will not totally and necessarily be judged on the NYS "color scheme”. One of the additional precautions that we will be taking is the installation of an overhead hepa filter device to clean the air inside the building. This will be done during our down time.
